The Office of the State’s Attorney for Howard County uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 as its guiding principle. These guidelines not only help make web content accessible to users with sensory, cognitive and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.
As we develop new products, pages, and functionality, the principles of accessible design and development are an integral part of conception and realization. We strive to test content and features for WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance and endeavor to identify and address any issues to ensure we meet or exceed the standards.
Our goal is to provide content that is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility. In the meantime, should you experience any difficulty in accessing our website, or if you would like to suggest improvements, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org or 410-313-2108.
